It’s a definite shift in my thinking. I’m listening to others’ criticisms of myself and applying where necessary. As the drama queen assessment was my own alone, it took many external viewpoints for me to realize that it’s just my own fabrication.

I have a different opinion (as to why that trick is hard to apply to oneself). Because “presenting bad things in a constructive manner” requires an outside point of view — a (somewhat) detached perspective.
