And now, fifteen poems from a wonderful woman, my only true friend throughout high school. Most of the tormented poems were written about her own childhood; the passionate ones were written about her first husband. Finally, Broken Promises bears both my and her name on the copyright, as I set the poem to music in 1989. Someday, I'll put the arrangement up on this site, perhaps as an MP3 file....
